Random Number Generator

Generate random integers in a range, dice rolls, or coin flips.

Inputs
Enter your values below.

Your answer appears here.

Enter values and press Calculate — the result appears here.

How it works
The formula behind this calculator.

result = min + rand × (max − min + 1); crypto where available

min, max
Inclusive bounds
count
How many numbers to draw

Pseudo-random numbers are fine for games and prototyping. For cryptography, lotteries, or anything needing unpredictability, use a CSPRNG.

Example: min=1, max=6, count=1 simulates a 6-sided die roll

Ref: Mersenne Twister (most JS engines); xoshiro256** in modern environments

Tips
  • 💡 Need a fair 6-sided die? Use min=1, max=6, count=1.
  • 💡 For lotteries, change the default range and count.
