How it works
The formula behind this calculator.
pace = time / distance; speed = distance / time; pace = 60 / speed
- time
- Duration
- distance
- Distance covered
Pace is time per unit distance (min/km). Speed is the inverse (km/h). The two convert by pace = 60 / speed.
Example: 10 km in 50 min → 5:00 min/km pace → 12 km/h speed

Tips
- 💡 Use a GPS watch or phone app for accurate pace over a measured route.
- 💡 Negative-split runs (slower first half, faster second) usually beat even splits by feel.
